The Princeton Review ranked OU in three top 20 lists
The Princeton Review ranked OU, Atlanta’s liberal arts college, in three of its top 20 lists: Professors Get High Marks (20), Best College Theatre (17) and Lots of Race/Class Interaction (10). OU is the only Georgia institution that was included in those categories in the most recent book.

The Princeton Review surveyed 122,000 students at 371 top colleges in 2008-2009 to rate their schools on dozens of topics and report on their campus experiences. OU finished in the top 20 in three categories. Read more...

Thank you, Stormy Petrels! Because of your generosity, alumni support of OU’s Annual Fund reached another all-time high in 2008-2009.

Not only did more alumni give this past year, but the total amount of funds contributed increased by nearly $10,000. Our sincere appreciation goes out to all alumni who gave back this year and to those who participated this spring in the Make A Difference Challenge. OU received an additional $88,750 in matching funds, helping to ensure a record fundraising total for the Annual Fund.

Next year will be even better! OU will celebrate reunion class years, athletes, former Admissions Ambassadors and more during 2010's Alumni Weekend. There will be a tour/lecture of OU Museum of Art and a faculty appreciation luncheon.

The classes of 1960, 1965 (all '60s alumni are invited to attend), 1970 and 1975 (all '70s alumni are invited to attend), 1980 and 1985 (all '80s alumni are invited to attend), 1990 and 1995 (all '90s alumni are invited to attend), 2000 and 2005 will celebrate reunions on campus during that weekend. There will be a special reunion for the class of 1960 since they will celebrate a 50th reunion, and there will be decade parties for all other years.

Be sure to mark your calendar and encourage your former classmates, teammates and Ambassadors to join in on the fun. Stay tuned to
