Lend A Hand, 5K Road Race
The Brookhaven Rotary Club sponsors this rolling course through the Brookhaven/Silver Lake community, which begins and ends at Oglethorpe. Registration/Entry Fee
$15/person if received by March 27, 2007; $20/person after March 27 and on race day. Phantom runners ("Please don't make me sweat/support the cause") will have their shirt mailed to them. Awards
5K entrants are eligible for awards for overall male and female, overall male and female masters and the tope three in age groups 10 and under, 11-14,15-19,20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-74, 75 & over. Ribbons to all Finishers in the 1 Mile fun run/walk.
In conjunction with Oglethorpe University’s Alumni Weekend, we have created the Stormy Petrel Award to be given to the fastest male and female OU graduate. There will also be a Stormy Petrel Team Award given to the OU graduating class with the largest number of runners.
