We would like to honor you by inducting you into our Golden Petrel Society. In a presentation during Oglethorpe’s Commencement Ceremony on May 18, members of the 2013 graduating class will present you with a unique Golden Petrel medallion specially crafted for honoring Oglethorpe graduates from the class of 1963 or earlier.

You are also invited to a luncheon hosted by the Oglethorpe Alumni Association in the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art (third floor of Lowry Hall) immediately following the Commencement Ceremony. This is a complimentary University sponsored event.

Saturday Evening, May 18
The Class of 1963 will gather for dinner and an evening of tall tales and new stories at the Marriott Buckhead Hotel. They plan to extend an invitation to others who attended OU with them but were not in the 1963 class. Dress will be Casual.

Sunday Morning, May 19
Before everyone departs for home, there will be a gathering for breakfast/brunch at the Marriott Buckhead Hotel.
