About Dr. Kendra King Momon
Dr. Kendra A. King Momon is a highly sought-after political thinker, commentator, and public speaker on Dr. Martin L. King, Jr., political and spiritual leadership, African-American politics, the Black church, Hip Hop, and leadership training and development.
She is the author of African American Politics, a cutting edge examination of minority politics in America which has received praise for its ability to "elegantly meld mainstream political science ideas and topics with innovative themes, a sophisticated historical consciousness, and continued demonstration of the ways in which African American politics is, and is not, American politics tout court."
A native of Providence, R.I., she currently resides in Atlanta with her husband Andrew. Together, they spearhead Momon Leadership which provides strategic planning, leadership, and consultation services. In her down time she enjoys making prayer bracelets, cooking gourmet seafood meals, and spending time with family and friends.
